2. Use LinkedIn to your advantage

3. Prepare for your interview

Many of our interviews occur over the phone or video. Ensure you dress professionally, find a quiet area, clear the clutter, and have good lighting for a video call. Focus on how your professional skills, background, and experience make you a good match for the role and the team. 

"Polish your talking points ahead of time and reflect on what attracted you to ICF and the role you are interviewing for. Aim to articulate how your professional and personal skillsets translate into the role,” advises Ruth, a senior recruiter for our public sector work in industries like cybersecurity and more.

4. Bring your authentic self
